just heard, the marine drive rapist got 12 years. this is terrific news. i mean this event was almost like a beginning of an era when we ignorant masses, came face to face with the reality, that bombay is after all not as safe for women as we think. surely this verdict will send out a stern message to the ill-intentioned.
also, public outcry works like magic. :)
